New! Seed Swap

Celebrate National Seed Swap day at Friendship Park Conservatory’s inaugural Seed Swap. Participants will have the opportunity to take home seeds from a variety of annuals, vegetables, herbs and native perennials supplied by Friendship Park Conservatory and the community.

Donation of seeds for this event is HIGHLY encouraged, as it is, after all, a swap! Seed may be dropped off at FPC the week leading up to the event or on the day. Note: Seed must be labeled with the variety, category (annual, vegetable, etc.) and the date of collection. Members of the Mt. Prospect, Des Plaines and Arlington Heights Garden Clubs get in for FREE but must call to register.
